"Mommy, I read it"
Tonight during my 5th consecutive reading of the literary masterwork Toad on the Road, we got stuck on this page that lists off places Toad and his buddies could possibly go on their road trip -- drive-in movies, magic shows, bowling alleys, rodeos, to name a few. We read this page over and over until Isaac had memorized it. Then he turned to me: "Mommy, I read it." I handed him the book.
But the book alone was not enough. Mommy needs equipment to read the book; why not Isaac? "Mommy, I have your glasses, PLEEEEEAse?"
But of course, my good man.

THAT is too cute. We can't let Ben hold glasses.... we learned the hard way that he destroys them!
How sweet is that?! Same thing here with the glasses and the kiddo...mine are now repaired by the hubs with some heat-shrink tubing and a little JB Weld.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Isaac will break mine...but I REALLY need to get some new ones anyway. The ones I have are 6 years old!
