The car seat so nice, we bought it twice

When Isaac got far too long for his infant car seat at around 9 months, we bought an Evenflo Triumph DLX convertible seat. I wanted to buy a top-of-the-line Britax, but we ended up with his seat after a shopping trip to Babies R Us where Dada saw how much the Britax I wanted actually cost. We got the nicest-looking non-Britax seat we could buy. The infamous line from Dada: "You would think I couldn't put a price on my baby's safety, but it turns out you can, and that price is $140."

~16 months later, that seat is still the bomb. It is a La-Z-Boy shoved in the backseat of our car. Isaac has never complained about it, and it's easy to use. So yesterday, when Jacob's pediatrician told me to get him out of that infant seat right this instant (as she saw his legs dangling over the edge, past his ankles even), I made Dada take us again to Babies R Us and buy another Triumph.

No more fussing from Jacob about strapping him down in his dinky little carrier! I no longer have to worry about breaking his toes off on the roll bar that sat against the back seat!

And here's the real selling point. Not only do both boys fall asleep in their matching car seats...

...but their sleep even survives the transfer into their respective beds. Now, if that's not worth the price of admission, I don't know what is.

Good lord you will have to turn him around sooner than you thought too! He is like Beaux ramming his feet into the back seat!
And I wanted the britax as well. Mine are cheaper, but you know they are all pretty safe.
