For my Grandma

I finished my fourth book last night at, oh, 5 in the morning. It was time, oh yes, to see it gone. My children woke up at 6:30 bright and shining and -- for the first time in more that a week -- not coughing.

I would be unconscious if it weren't for my darling, darling husband who immediately whisked in and took over all parenting duties as I snored away until almost 9 this morning. Bliss, it was. But I still need a nap. I will take one directly, but not before I post a picture for my Grandma and Grandpa, who live in Missouri. In their late 70s have the spunk to get on the internet nearly every day and read my blog.

A long time ago they gave Isaac a special t-shirt that was intentionally too big. Yesterday I found out that it fits, and he picked it out to wear (it's red! How did she know?). You'll have to pardon his sicky-looking expression and mini Hitler 'stache from where he rubbed raw the skin where snot had touched. He is feeling much better, though tired, today.

It says "Somebody in Jackson, MO loves me," with a little embroidered indian representing their high school's mascot.
