Disney POD 4 -- Tea party

Meemaw and Poppop first took Uncle Chrissy and I to Disney World when we were quite small -- I think I was 4 and he was 2. I remember some things about the trip. Even way back then I was a ride junkie. Poppop and I would ride everything we possibly could, while my squeamish brother and mother would go do sissy things like play in the arcade. Lame.

My fondest memory our Disney trip back then is of coaxing Uncle Chrissy onto the Mad Tea Party ride with myself and Poppop, where we tried our hardest to get my brother to toss his Mickey-shaped cookies. He was unhappy about it, but he didn't puke. We are so sweet.

Now that I have boys of my own, it is my God-given right to test their stomachs on the teacups. Here we are, in the last available teacup that go-'round. In Isaac's requested teacup color, even, because Disney loves us and wants us to be happy. Can you see us? Dada with his navy shirt and his Isaac? Jacob and I smiling upwards at the drunken mouse poking his head out of the tea kettle?

How 'bout now? Can you see us now? Dada is doing it up right, as you can tell from the hot blurring action.

Aaaaaand we're stopping.

Here's Jakey, insisting that he should go with Dada because Dada is exiting the teacup first.

So Jacob is not fond of spinning rides, despite his predilection for being spun around in Dada's office chair. But he was definitely a good sport about it. No screaming or fussing, that one! He keeps his panic inside, relying on a steely monkey grip and poky fingernails to tell me his deepest thoughts.
