Just so's you know your place, woman...
A few mornings ago, a groggy, near-lifeless Dada and a perky Isaac were sitting together in the living room watching morning cartoons while I busied myself in the kitchen making Isaac some breakfast. As Dada finished his first cup of coffee, Isaac inspected it.
"Where's your coffee, Daddy?"
"It's gone, buddy. My coffee cup is empty."
"You need some more coffee. MOMMY! DADDY NEEDS MORE COFFEE!"
And, just in case I didn't hear, Isaac comes padding into the kitchen to inform his staff.
"Mommy," he says matter-of-factly to my face, "Daddy needs more coffee. You get him some more."
